Burnham Juniors Celebrate With Sir Geoff Hurst

The 400 guests who attended this year’s presentation night were amazed when England’s 1966 hero Sir Geoff Hurst appeared on stage to present the trophies. Sir Geoff’s surprise visit was the first prize in an FA competition entered by Club Treasurer Sally Plume.

Sir Geoff spent some time with the Clubs younger players, before presenting awards to the league teams.

The main presentation saw the under 14’s celebrate winning the Knock Out cup for the second year running and Sir Geoff presenting a special award to Club Founder Paul Skinner to celebrate 45 years at Burnham Juniors.
